Jene (pronounced Jenna) is a beautiful dark fawn brindle girl whose pedigree combines every bloodline Old School has ever introduced into our breeding program. She is also a bitch who descends from an unbroken line of bitches, mother to daughter, all the way back to our foundation bitch, Julie. She is the 9th generation of Old School bitches, counting from the unbroken bitch line. She is pictured above at 3 years of age.

Jene is is a real character and such a funny girl. She is full of energy, fun, and mischief. At shows she wants to play with every dog she sees and that goes double if it is a puppy who returns her advances. She will bark when she is bored, much like her aunt Lizzie did, which means I have to try to avoid getting to shows too early. She likes to know what is going on around her and at home, that means getting a higher vantage point to see over the fence unimpeded. She does this by perching on her favorite lawn chair. Here I was grilling on our deck and Jene was sitting in her chair to better see what I was doing. Of course, as soon as I got the camera she had to get down from the chair! She is 15 months in these photos.

Jene is pictured below taking her first points going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex from the Bred by Exhibitor Bitch class at the 2009 VKC show at 15 months of age. It was just one bitch shy of being a major.

Jene placed 4th in the Bred by Exhibitor Bitch class at the 2009 MCOA National Specialty, despite being only 14 months of age in a large class of more mature bitches.
