Old School's Dixie Babylon

Date of Birth:  March 20, 2005

Babs at 2.5 years of age. Babs was bred by Sarah Elkin and Loretta Van Damm and is out of a girl we bred, Old School's Dark Angel (Max) by our boy Junior (Ch. Old School's Junior).

Babs at 2.5 years of age. Babs is a littermate to Waylon and she has nearly the same pedigree as Logan, as the have the same mother and her father, Junior, is a littermate to Logan's father, Max.

Babs at 2.5 years of age. Babs has nice bone and excellent body. Her breadth is massive. We keep thinking she has finished broadening out, but she continues to get wider and wider.

Babs at 2.5 years of age. While we do not care for her head (she needs a shorter, squarer muzzle, and a broader, squarer skull) Babs does have a nice expression, an excellent bite and pretty dark eyes.

Babs at 22 months of age. Babs is important to our bloodline because she represents our opportunity to maintain an unbroken line of bitches from our foundation bitch Julie. (From Julie, to Trouble, to Ursa, to Butter, to Ayla, to Pasha, and now to Babs).

Babs at 22 months of age. We have high hopes for what she can bring to our breeding program with her outcrossed bloodline of Caledonia/Iron Hills and if she throws nice puppies we have big plans for her!

Babs at 19 months of age. She has grown at a very different rate than we are used to with our bloodline. For a bitch of her age in our line, she has more body then we are used to. Our line tends to grow more like her brother Waylon, tall and lanky until they get to 2 years, and then they start to fill out. I think she takes after her Caledonia/Iron Hills blood more than our line when it comes to how she is maturing. She still has a long way to go, but she is already extremely broad in body and deep in chest.
